VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF MANAGING DIRECTOR
The Sindh Fund Management House ("SFMH") has been established as a body corporate under the Sindh Fund Management House Act, 2013 passed by the Sindh Assembly. The objective of the SFMH is to efficiently manage the investment portfolio of different funds of the Government of Sindh ("GoS"). GoS intends to appoint a Managing Director, who shall be the administrative head of the SFMH. The appointment shall initially be for a term of 4 (four) years, which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance. Market based compensation / package shall be offered to the selected candidate, commensurate with experience and qualification. Qualification and Experience • Masters Degree in Finance / Economics / Business Administration from an institute of repute, or a Chartered Accountant. • Experience of the candidate shall not be less than 12 years in the field of Investment Research, Portfolio Management and Employee Benefit / HR related plans. The candidate shall possess experience of senior management position of at least 5 years. • Experience of managing employee benefit schemes, forming HR benefit related plans and conducting actuarial analysis shall be given preference. • Age limit not exceeding 50 years.
Job Description • Overseeing the investment management of the various funds of the Government of Sindh. • Conducting the affairs of the SFMH with the highest standards of integrity and in compliance with best market practices and corporate good governance, including adherence to the provisions of the Sindh Fund Management House Act, 2013. • Performing such other duties and exercising such other powers as may be assigned from time to time by the Investment Committee and the Board.
