CONSULTANT REQUIRED
A public sector organization requires services of a Consultant for appointment on contract basis for a period of 2 years, to; ■ Monitor human rights issues reported in print/ electronic media. ■ Liaise with journalists to proactively follow-up cases of human rights abuses in the society. l■ Examine and take-up human rights petitions with concerned quarters and their follow-up. ■ Liaise with other international/local agencies dealing with human rights issues in Pakistan. ■ Keep up-dated information about cases of human rights abuses and their remedy.
Outputs required by the Consultant:
• Redressal of received human rights petitions. ■ Availability of first hand information about human rights issues in the country. ■ Follow-up of cases of human rights abuses. ■ Preparation and submission of regular briefs on the subjects.
Professional Experience and Expertise required:
■ Masters' Degree in Mass Communication ■ Minimum 15 years of experience in print and Electronic Media of Public/Private Sector. ■ Demonstrated skill of professional report writing in English/Urdu. ■ Aptitude of dealing with down trodden groups of the society.
Age Limit: ■ Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years on the closing date of application. Pay Package: ■ A fixed salary of Rs.150,000/- per month.
