COUNTRY: ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN PROJECT : TARBELA 4th EXTENSION HYDRO-POWER PROJECT, (T4th EXT. HP) AGENCY : WATER AND POWER DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (WAPDA) TITLE : MID-LEVEL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT STAFF ON CONTRACT BASIS AS INCREMENTAL STAFF FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT UNIT OF T4th HP
The Government of Pakistan has launched 1410 MW Hydropower Project and has received a Loan/Credit from the World Bank (IBRD + IDA) to fund cost of the project. The concerned Federal Ministry is the Ministry of Water and Power, Government of Pakistan and the principle implementing agency of the project is Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA). WAPDA is seeking the services of the below mentioned Specialist initially hired for one (1) year which may be extendable as per actual requirements: i. Mid-level Financial Management Staff on Contract Basis as Incremental Staff for Financial Management Unit of T4th HP. The terms of reference for the above position can be downloaded from the website of WAPDA (www.wapda.gov.pk) or can be obtained from the office of Chief Engineer/Project Director, T4th Ext. HP, Tarbela at the address given below. The Selection Criteria is as under:

Experience
MBA, M.COM, CA-Inter/Finalist, ICMA-Inter/Finalist.
Minimum 02 years experience of handling/managing loans relating to mega projects or experience of similar nature as per World Bank and Asian Development Bank or International Donors funded projects.
Salary Package
i. Monthly Salary (Lump sum) = Rs. 60,000/- per month. The same package has already been adopted for incremental staff of the equivalent status i.e. BPS-17. This salary package includes all allowances such as, house rent, conveyance allowance, free supply of electricity, medical allowance, entertainment allowance etc. ii. Initial contract will be fora period of one year. iii. The incumbent will be entitled for yearly increment of Rs. 2,500/- subjectto renewal of the contract. No TA/DAwill be admissible for interview. The interested individuals are invited to submit their Bio-data/Curriculum Vitae to the Chief Engineer/Project Director T4th Ext. HP, Tarbela supported by relevant documentation by 16th December, 2013 the latest.
