CARE International in Pakistan (GIP) invites applications from qualified candidates for the following senior management level positions: Partnership Coordinator —Islamabad CARE exclusively works with its partners to promote self-help and influence public opinion and practice by bringing together wisdom based on sound analysis and field practices. CARE.s partnership approach is based on both civil society development and mutual collaboration towards common objectives. CARE plans to develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with local partners. CARE has developed Civil Society Partnership Framework. The Partnership Coordinator will lead the implementation and evolution of CARE.s partnership framework. The PC works closely with other colleagues in ensuring quality, effective and efficient programming that maximizes the sustainable impact of CARE, work in Pakistan. In addition to its strategic role and advisory responsibilities, the PC is responsible to keep our partnerships strong, healthy and accountable.
Prerequisites:
* Master's degree in Social Science, International Development, Humanitarian Studies or related field. Training or degree in financial management, business administration, or accounting. * At least 10 years management experience in humanitarian/development field. Experience in successfully developing and managing institutional partnerships with national NG Os, and in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with other stakeholders. Experience in implementing Rights-Based Approaches (RBA), advocacy strategies, gender and governance programming. * Program design and strategic planning and analytical skills, excellent creative and conceptual skills, advanced writing and clear oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, training skills, strong computer skills. Ability and interest to coach and develop staff. Ability to establish a learning culture within the CO. Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (Sr. MEAL) Advisor — Islamabad The Sr. MEAL Advisor is responsible for overall implementation the country office's Impact MEAL framework. The position's objective is to ensure mainstreaming of Impact MEAL at organizational and program level, and to lead on the development of Impact Monitoring and Evaluation strategy and framework based on CARE's program and strategy. The Senior MEAL Advisor will lead initiatives to strengthen the quality and accountability of CARE, work at organizational and program level, and leads in ensuring capacities, processes and procedures reflect a strong commitment to impact throughout the CO. He/she will ensure that CARE is well informed and influential with respect to MEAL issues, and is proactively and appropriately networked and engaged to promote improved practices and standards in MEAL. He/she will support efforts to ensure adequate resourcing and budgeting for MEAL at program and organizational level.
Prerequisites:
* Master's degree in Development related disciplines or equivalent. * At least 10 years of work experience in MBE related areas, conversant with rural and urban poverty and so economic issues in Pakistan. 7 years of work experience in research and of gender programs. * Program design and strategic planning and analytical skills, excellent creative and conceptual skills, advanced writing and clear oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, training skills, strong computer skills.
