The United Nations Development Programme (UN DP) is inviting applications from highly competent individuals for the following LULA Fixed Term positions in UNDP Country Office Islamabad. Assistant Country Director, Environment and Climate Change The Chief Environment and Climate Change Unit (ACD- ECU) serves as a manager of and advisor to national counterparts and UNDP senior management on aspects of national and provincial environment and climate change related policies and programmes. She/he manages the Country Office programme portfolio dealing with environmental management, sustainable energy and dimate change adaptation and mitigation. The ACD works in close collaboration with stakeholders to successfully implement the portfolio. The position requires a Masters Degree in Environment Sciences, Natural Resource Management or Climate Studies or a closely related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in management, design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects and establishing successful relationships with other the national government and international organizations. APPLICATIONS DEADLINE IS 6 DECEMBER, 2013 Procurement Manager The Procurement Manager will lead the Procurement Unit of UNDP Pakistan and will work in close collaboration with all country office units and project teams to successfully deliver procurement services. The position requires a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics or a closely related field plus at least 8 years of senior-level experience in procurement management. Successful candidates will possess demonstrated experience of team-leadership in senior procurement roles.
