JOB FOR VICE CHANCELLOR AT THE SHAHEED ZULFIQAR ALI BHUTTO MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, ISLAMABAD
Job Description:
Capital Administration and Developtmnet Division is looking for a qualified and experienced Medical Education professional for the position of Vice Chancellor, Shaheed Zulfigar All Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad for a period of four year.
The candidate should possess the following attributes:
* Experience in managing high level medical education institutions. * Distinguished reputation as a scholar and academician in medical field, having exposure to international best practices with respect to academic functions both in classroom teaching and research (clinical and non-clinical). * Leadership qualities for policy marking in relation to efficient and effective management of all affairs of the university. Capability and experience in resource mobilization.
Eligibility Criteria:-
* Should have qualification prescribed by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council at level-I and level-III MS or MD or FCPS or equivalent and FCPS/Ph.D and qualifications with other nomenclatures in basic medical sciences. * Should not be more than 65 years of age on closing date of submission of applications. * Should have fifteen years teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical institutions. fi Should have to his/her credit, a minimum of ten quality research publications in the indexed medical journals recognized by HEC or PM & DC. . Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
Terms And Conditions:- Pay & other perquisites, allowances:
The pay package and other allowances shall be equivalent to professor at tenure track system privileges as notified by the higher education commission (HEC) vide notification No. 1- 11/HEC/A&C/2011/1006. Dated 19-12-2011 which include the following: • Basic salary. * Annual increment. * Vice chancellor allowance @20% of basic pay. • Transport, medical facilities and accommodation allowance, as per entitlement. • Any other perks and privileges granted to the chancellor as deemed necessary under peculiar circumstances. • Total take home salary may range from Rs. 300,000/- to Rs. 500,000/- per month.
