SBP is looking for a high caliber and dynamic legal professional to be appointed as Advisor - Legal Services Department to ensure smooth functioning of its Legal Services Department by providing dynamic and progressive legal support to deal with all internal issues of SBP, matters of the Banking industry as well as issues of national importance. The incumbent would be expected to provide well thought out and researched legal opinion/advice in the following broad areas: • Banking • International Finance • Litigation (Civil/ Criminal/ Constitutional) • Service matters • Domestic and International Contracts The position is based at Karachi. We are an equal opportunity employer. • Drafting of Legislation • Judicial or Regulatory functions • Commercial and corporate issues Advisor - Legal Services Department This is a senior management position and incumbent would be expected to head the functions of Legal Services Department. The incumbent would be required to provide timely and sound legal advice on legal issues to the organization/internal stakeholders to ensure maximum protection and safeguard against all kinds of legal implications. He would look after Bank's interest and avoid exposure to legal/financial risks and liabilities. Eligibility Criteria Education At least LLB or LLM from a recognized university, additional or foreign qualification would be an advantage. Age Maximum 54 years, relaxation may be allowed in case of highly qualified, relevant and more experienced candidates. Experience Must have at least 15 years of relevant professional experience, candidates having credible experience of Superior Courts will be preferred. Compensation Package • Market based negotiated salary commensurate with experience and qualifications of candidate. • Medical facility as per Bank's rules. • Car as per Bank's rules.
