No. B/Advt. (Teach) 2014- Dated: January 03, 2014 Applications are invited for the Post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the NATIONAL CENTRE FOR PROTEROZOIC, UNIVERSITY OF KARACHI as per Terms and Conditions given below:
REQUIREMENTS
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (B-19)
Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Chemistry with Specialization in Protein Chemistry/Proterozoic from an HEC recognized University/Institution. No Experience Required. OR Master's Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil or Equivalent Degree awarded after 18 Years of Education as determined by the HEC in Biochemistry/Chemistry with Specialization in Protein Chemistry/Proterozoic from an HEC recognized University/Institution with 4 Years Teaching/Research or Professional Experience in a recognized University or Post Graduate Institution/National or International Organization. NOTE: 1) All Candidates (Excluding In-Service regular Teachers of the University and such Candidates holding Ph.D Degrees in Biochemistry / Chemistry with Specialization in Protein Chemistry/Proteomics) are required to appear in NTS Test. Only Short Listed Candidates will be called for Interview and Presentation before the Selection Board. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: 1) Applications are required to be submitted on prescribed Forms, obtainable from the Office of the c Deputy Registrar (Establishment, Teaching), First Floor, New Administration Building, University of Karachi on Payment of Rs 500/-through a Pay Order drawn in favour of University of Karachi.
2) Four Copies of Application Form together with a Pay Order of Rs 1,200/- in favour of University of Karachi for the above Post, Photocopies of Marks Certificates Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates, Experience Certificates and Reprints of Publication, if any, must reach the Registrar, University of Karachi, University Road, Karachi-75270 (Pakistan) on or before February 04, 2014. The Last Date for Receipt of Applications in case of Pakistani Nationals serving/residing abroad is February 11, 2014.
3) Candidates already in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan must apply through Proper Channel. 4) Candidates requesting Application Forms by Post must send a Pay Order/Bank Draft of Rs 600/- within Pakistan and Rs 1,500/- or Equivalent from Outside Pakistan, drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Karachi, Pakistan along with their Written Request. 5) Candidates are required to paste One Attested Photograph on Each Application Form in the space given for this purpose. 6) The Number of Posts shall be considered according to the available Positions at the time of Selection. The University also reserves the right to cancel any Post advertised above without assigning any reason.
