U. S. Embassy, Islamabad is seeking applications from qualified individuals for multiple HVAC Technician and Maintenance Mechanic(Generators)positions. Attractive salary package and other benefits will be offered to the selected candidates. Qualification Required: For HVAC Technician:Completion of twelve years of education &three months of HVAC vocational training and five-years' experience in operations and maintenance of building HVAC systems and associated equipment is required. Incumbent must have very good knowledge of major HVAC/mechanical systems & equipment, reading technical documents/literature and interpreting maintenance plans. Incumbent have the ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems and components by using tools of the trade, comprehend engineering reports/specifications and be able to work in diverse conditions. For Maintenance Mechanic (Generators): Ten years of education &two years of vocational diploma in electrical trade and three-years' experience as a repair mechanic or maintenance technician working with power (MV & LV) generators is required. Incumbent must have good knowledge of international building, electrical & plumbing codes, and electrical principles & theories etc. Incumbent must have the ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, generators, testing electrical components. Must be able to distinguish frequencies & sounds, color codes and odors in equipment operation. Computer skills and a valid Pakistani driver's license for Motor Car/Jeep are required for all positions.
