Project Manager — Engaging Vulnerable Youth through Sports in Southern Punjab — 01 Position (Bahawalpur based)
Qualifications & Experience: This position requires a master's degree in management or social science, with 7-10 years experience focused in project management, preferably with several years focusing on youth. History of playing and/or coaching sports is essential. Experience with sports as tool for youth engagement and development is ideal, as is experience with both national and international NG0s. Experience of managing sub-grants and working with implementing partners is necessary Administrative capacity and planning skills to manage a large team of staff from diverse backgrounds is critical. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and swollen, in English, Urdu and Punjabi. Must be able to effectively coordinate with implementing pardners and government line departments. Knowledge of computer applications such as MS-Office is essential. Responsibility Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day implementation of the project in Bahawalpur District, unwell overall achievement of project goals. S/he will work closely both with management and support staff (including finance. administration, security and project) in Bahawalpur and Islamabad to ensure that day to day and long-term activities are implemented according to schedule, budget and required quality
M & E Officer —01 Position (Bahawalpur based)
Qualifications & Experience: The position requires a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences or equivalent, at least five years ol field experience in the Social or Development Sector preferably in field-based monitoring and evaluation disciplines with NG0s/ING0s. Must have solid qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis skills. Must be fluent in Urdu and English: local knowledge and familiarity with Punjabi language is a must, and Saraiki or other local languages a plus. Computer Proficiency: MS WORD (Advanced user), MS EXCEL (Advanced user). MS OUTLOOK (Working Knowledge). Responsibilitiesi Duties: The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) officer will assist the Project Manager in monitoring and oversight of all project activities in the target areas and provide necessary programmatic support to the project team in Bahawalpur. The person will collect program data/information hum he field by carrying out field visits and participating in community meetings, and attending sports events and training sessions. He/she will work closely with MC's HO-based monitoring and evaluation staff where necessary, and will take the lead for the field team on developing the baseline and end line survey and participant interviews (with HO support and guidance). In close collaboration with the project manager, the M&E Officer will draft and revise quartedy reports and will develop case studies and success stories during the implementation of the program.
