PROJECT MANAGER SOUTH ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY
Management and coordination of all technical activities on assigned programs. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned personnel and engineering work; monitors work for compliance to product requirements, applicable standards and accepted engineering practices; ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned programs between all disciplines and all other project participants.
KEY ACCOUNT-ABILITIES: • Work closely with the Interior Design, Engineering and the Hotel teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of the projects. • Recommend and implement goals, objectives, and practices for providing effective and efficient field services. • Receives, investigates, and responds to technical assistance requests and warranty claims in a professional manner • Reviews contractor bids; interviews and assigns personnel to specific phases and elements of the project. Through project coordination meetings and other forms of communication, oversees and coordinates the technical aspects of the project. • Prepares status reports and regularly monitors budgets, contractors and schedules. Allocates project resources appropriately; approves expenditures; employee contractor contracts. Keeps an accurate record and electronic data base of all elements of the projects. • Presents procedures, rules and regulations to those involved in the project; maintains a safe, clean and productive environment through enforcing procedures. Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance.
QUALIFICATION • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering • Engineering Diploma with Specialization in Civil Engineering • Bachelor of Project Management ( Civil Engineering Science)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS • Minimum of 5 Year + Project & People Management Experience with major multinational Companies • Ability to solve managerial, financial and business problems in relation to project management • Effective CAD (AutoCAD) drawing skills • To assertively negotiate with suppliers on price issues • A will to learn and gain an appreciation of complimentary Engineering Disciplines Mechanical, Software and Compressed Air • Project Management Professional Certification
