An international Organisation is looking for a person to fill the following vacancy. Cataract Programme !Onager Location: Islamabad Contract Duration : Two years Objective: Cataract Programme Manner responsive for monitor.r.g and reporting on our cataract programmes in Palastan initially. Over time the person will initiate and develop new projects for inclusive eye health in Pakistan and Eastern Mediterranean region. Key Responsibilities 1.Assist Partners in the implementation of the programme using the Cataract Manual as the guide. 2.10 monitor the implementation ot the cataract programme in terms of outputs, outcomes, cost and patient satisfaction 3.Analyse reports and provide learning to the Organisation and partners on the outcomes and impacts of the cataract programme(s) within the country (Pakistan) 1.To advocate for inclusion of benchmarked cataract surgical parameters into the National plans. 5.To advocate and monitor partners for implementation of Inclusive practices within the cataract programme. 6.Develop the cataract program to other countries of the EMR. 7.0ver time to develop new initiatives in Inclusive eye health both in Pakistan and EMR region. Requirements Qualification, experience and skill: -MBBS, preferably an Ophthalmologist with Public Health Ophthalmology. .Proficiency in wntten and spoken English besides local language. en years of experience in Public Health Ophthalmology. .Preferably good working experience with NGOs or INGO and the Government sector in the relevant field. •Strong facilitation, interpersonal and motivational skills. ▪ multitasking spirit to handle tough situations and stringent circumstances. •Strong planning and marketing skills. .Analytical thinking and decision making 510115. •Proven (project) management competence. •Excellent Communications skills. othility to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts. .Abillty to effectively meet deadlmes
