National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) was established by the Government of Pakistan as a Federal Statutory Body. It is an autonomous body set up to promote human development. NCHD is involved in enhancing the Human Development Indicators in Pakistan. The mission of the NCHD is to promote Human Development by supporting Government Line departments, Non.Governmental Organizations and elected officials at the district level in primary education, literacy and provision of basic healthcare services. The goal of the Commission is to fill the implementation gaps and improve public sector delivery mechanisms to achieve the Millennium Development Goals
Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)/Sub Engineer (SE)

The incumbent will be responsible for quality assurance as per specifications, progress controls as per the schedule provided and cost controller as per the agreed cost of the respective school building. S/he will be required to make field sketches if there is any detail not clear to the contractor or should immediately consult the G.M. Infrastructure for instructions.
The services of ARE/SE will be required for a period of 4 months. The ideal candidate must have an Associate Engineering Diploma in Civil Technology, (3 years duration) from any Engineering College or Polytechnic, with minimum of 7 to 10 years experience of Building Execution works. ARE/SE should be well conversant with the standards applicable as stipulated in specifications and BOO, or as mentioned on the drawing. S/he will be well conversant to adopt execution methodology and materials quality, which would be the basic components of the building works. Preference will be given to local candidates.
