Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Rawalpindi earlier today where he
inaugurated the state of the art Cardiac Centre which has been equipped
with the latest technology. Hundreds of thousands of patients not only
from Rawalpindi region but from Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan
and Azad Jammu & Kashmir will benefit from this institute. Countless
heart patients will be spared the trouble of travelling to other cities
and thousands of lives will be saved. CM during his visit also laid
foundation stone of Punjab’s first Institute of Urology which will have
the capacity to conduct kidney transplants and will have the best and
latest machinery installed, work has commenced on this mega project and
it will cost 3 billion rupees. Foundation stone for a flyover at 6th
Junction along Murree Road was also laid today. CM during his address
stated that he believes in practical work and his Government has
delivered by successfully completing countless development projects all
over Punjab. He further stated that he will continue to serve the people
in this manner and those who raise mere slogans can go on criticizing
him.
