FACULTY POSITIONS
Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for appointment in BPS System with usual allowances or Tenure Track System (TTS) for the following positions by August 31, 2012. 1.
Professor (BS-21) Age Limit not more than 45 years Ph.D Engineering from a recognized and reputable institution in the field of Water Resources or Irrigation or Hydrology or Hydro power with 15 years total experience or 10-years post Ph.D. leaching/research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in a National or International organization out of which 5 years most be teaching experience plus fifteen (15) research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC/PEC recognized journals. 2. Associate Professor (BS-20)Age Limit not more than 40 years Ph.D Engineering with specialization in any discipline as listed in (1) above with 10-years total experience or 5 years post Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization out of which 2 years must be teaching experience plus 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HECiPEC recognized journals. 3. Assistant Professor (BS-19)Age Limit not less than 23 years and not more than 30 years Ph.D Er gineering with specialization in any discipline as listed in (1) above or M.Phil/M.Sc Engineering in any of the above disciplines or G.I.S. with 2 years leaching/research/professional experience in a recognized University/Institution. 4. Lecturer (BS-18) Age Limit not less than 23 years and not more than 30 years First class Master degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering or Hydropower Engineering with no 3rd division in academic career from a HEC recognized institution. Preference will be given to applicants with higher qualification and experience in GIS. Note: a) Candidates applying for appointment under the Tenure Track System can download eligibility criteria/qualifications I experience and other conditions from HEC website (www.hec.gov.pk). For BPS appointment, the revised criteria given by HEC in its website will be applicable. b) Serving candidates should apply through proper channel. c) No TA/DA will be admissible when appearing for interview. d) Age relaxation may be granted to deserving candidates. e) All applications must accompany Pay Order/Draft of Rs. 001-in the name of Director, CEWRE for Sr. No. 1 to 3. and Rs. 1501- for Sr. No. 4 along with attested copies of degrees and transcripts of marks, domicile certificate and four copies of each research publication. f) Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered.
