Hashoo Foundation is soliciting applications for the following post in its Core Office Islamabad. Head of Economic Development (SE) Salary Range: Rs 306,296 to Rs 403,064 per month The Head of Economic Development is a key member of the senior management team. The incumbent will provide strategic, technical, and management leadership for the Economic Development Programs of Hashoo Foundation in Islamabad. The Head of Economic Development will strategize, develop and where appropriate, supervise the implementation of economic development projects. S/he will analyze, assess and where appropriate, lead the scaling up of the viable projects into social enterprises for the communities or HF itself. The incumbent will support the HF Management in influencing the line ministries to further improve policies in economic development, revitalizing of the markets: small scale employment and businesses. Requirements (Qualification and Experience) The ideal candidate should possess a post graduate degree in agricultural development, livestock, or other discipline relevant to urban/rural economic development/growth. S/he should have experience in advocacy at the level of Govt., communities, NG0s, and donor agencies. Strong understanding of relevant ministry and structure of line departments for National/Provincial and District Level Advocacy with Govt is a must. The overall experience should be more than 10 years, out of which at least 5 years should be spent in managing complex programs at scale in Pakistan.
